I own 2 black pairs and 2 soft dark brown pairs. (No longer available, it was their best boot in the lineup) The brown boot they replaced with is more of a deep tan.Nothing to dislike these are probably the best boots ( ankle length) that money can buy…very comfortable……This is my third pair over several years. I love these for business travel. Easy at airports, comfortable for long walks, stylish enough for business west. Great product.How Amazon listed this boot "Condition: Used - Very Good - Item has minor scuffs or defects on side surfaces. Item has minor scuffs or defects on sole." SERIOUSLY?! I dont even have words for what I just received! This boot it GARBAGE! It's not even a boot! It's so destroyed that it's a pair of sandals at best. It literally can not even be put on.Please see the photo.I'm appalled and completely dumbfounded.Maybe this is a good boot, maybe it's not..... I have no idea cause I wasn't even sent a boot.I was really looking forward to getting these too.EPIC FAIL.Typical high quality, stylish, durable Rockport product with excellent fit. It took only a day to break them in and now they’re as comfortable as slippers. It took a while to determine the right size, but the size chart definitely helps as they do not come in standard US sizing. I normally take a US13 but the US11.5 In the Rockport was perfect. They’re also very water resistant, but I don’t know how long that will last. I’ve tried other brands over the years but I keep coming back to Rockport.I really wanted to like these, they look nice.However, boots need to be durable and these are not. The inside lining is paper which will crumble as soon as you get them wet and the sole started to detach from the upper, after only one month of use.Amazon customer service is great though, and they let me return themQuality and comfort for a value price. Durable, stylish and versatile they can be matched equally well with a suit or jeans. Use the Rockport size chart on the internet as these are not standard sizes.the shoes were fine but too large. I would loved to have had them in size 8 but I had to pay over 87.00 in shipping & handling to get these & return them and I can't afford to keep doing that.
